Paula Olaz (Pamplona, 1989) is a Spanish composer specialising in original soundtracks for film, television, theatre, dance and video games. Her work is characterised by the fusion of artistic creativity and scientific research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has composed original music for more than 20 feature films, establishing herself as one of the most active composers in contemporary Spanish cinema. Among her most notable works are the films \u201cRaqa\u201d (Gerardo Herrero), \u201cEl bus de la Vida\u201d (Ib\u00f3n Cormenzana), \u201cVerano en Rojo\u201d (Bel\u00e9n Mac\u00edas), \u201cAlguien que cuide de m\u00ed\u201d (Elvira Lindo and Daniela F\u00e9jerman), \u201cLas Buenas Compa\u00f1\u00edas\u201d (Silvia Munt), ‘Bajo Terapia’ (Gerardo Herrero), \u201cNora\u201d (Lara Izagirre), \u201cLa Cima\u201d (Ibon Cormenzana), and \u201cCr\u00f3nica de una tormenta\u201d (Mariana Barassi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was recently awarded the Lorca Prize for Best Original Soundtrack for her work on \u201cAlguien que cuide de m\u00ed\u201d. Her career includes more than seven nominations for the Goya Award for Best Original Music, and some of the films she has contributed to have been shortlisted for Oscars and have gained international recognition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
