Alkisti Efthymiou

Alkistis Efthimiou is a writer and anthropologist, interested in debating the sensitiveness of cultural texts and exploring, through art, the ways we manage the emotional impact the world has over us and vice versa. She holds a BA in Media and Cultural Studies and an MA in Gender, Society and Politics from Panteion University, as well as an MA in Museum Studies from University College London.

Having worked with several cultural institutions in Greece and abroad (including the Αthens Biennale, documenta 14, and Künstlerhaus Stuttgart), she also tries to comment on (when she can bear it) the conditions of precarity and exhaustion within the art world.
