Estibaliz Curiel

Zumaia, 1986. He studied Drama at the Navarre School of Theatre and completed his studies at the school of Mar Navarro and Andrés Hernández, Lecoq technique. She has completed her studies working with various professionals, especially in comedy, masks and in the audiovisual field.

She has worked with several theatre companies; Yarleku, Aran Aran, Grupo de teatro de la Universidad Carlos III, Begiradak, Soka! Zirko antzerki intrumentala, Proyecto 43-2. In 2015 he participated in Matias Umpierrez’s TeatroSolo Donostia. He has worked for 3 seasons and in two shows of the street theatre company Trapuzaharra.

In the audiovisual field he has worked in feature films such as: ‘Arriya’ by Alberto Gorritiberea, ‘Igelak’ by Patxo Telleria, ‘Handia’ by Jon Garaño and Aitor Arregi and ‘Agur Etxebeste’ by Telmo Esnal and Asier Altuna, playing small parts. He has also participated in several short films, including ‘Komando Marmitako’ by Uxue Botas and Ane Nafarrate and ‘Babesa’ by Ander Iruretagoiena.

She currently dedicates a large part of her time to creation and we can see her working on her own shows and group performances. ‘35 Huts’ monologue directed by Miren Gojenola and written with Aitziber Garmendia. Together with the musician Maria Zubimendi in ‘Bote Prontoan’ a family show. And with the company Loli&Flori, ‘Chez emballage’, a show of gestural theatre and objects created from recycled materials, created together with Sandra Aguerri and designed to be performed together with musical bands.
