Pamplona, 1996. She studied Journalism with a specialisation in Performing Arts Production at the University of Navarra. Her debut feature documentary ‘Con los ojos abiertos’, made as a final project and premiered at the Navarra International Film Festival, where it received the Golden Meliton for Best Film (currently available on the Filmin platform). In 2019 he created Cambur Producciones, an independent production company focused on social cinema. That same year he made the leap to fiction with the short film ‘Cuesta’, which won more than 100 festival selections. Later, she directed ‘Gaueko’, selected at festivals such as Abycine and Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur. Among his latest works in distribution is the fiction short film ‘O’, presented at the MAFIZ of the Malaga Festival, and winner of the award for Best Short Film at Rodando por Jaén, the award for Best Screenplay at the Cartagena International Film Festival and recently selected at the New Spanish Shorts Market Screening 2024 in Clermont Ferrand and in the official section of Ibizacinefest. Also the short film ‘Cuando crece la hierba’, winner of Best Film, Best Screenplay and Distribution Award at Notodofilmfest 2022, which has already accumulated more than 90 festival selections and awards such as the EITB-Euskal Pantailak at Santurzine or Best Fiction Short Film at the Oldenburg Festival. In the documentary field, he has directed a second piece, the medium-length film ‘Toda la vida’, and lastly, in 2024 he released his latest fiction short film, ‘La Colada’, which premiered at the Ull Nu Audiovisual Festival of Andorra.
