A member of the last edition of Elkarrekin Sortzen in Basque where she developed her project ‘Koaxi’, today she has her own little room to continue shaping her story.
Naia Arantzamendi Larrañaga (Ondarroa, 1994) graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and the Sacro Cuore University in Milan. After university, she did a master’s degree in scriptwriting for film, television and theatre at the Autonomous University of Madrid, specialising in production studies. After winning the 1st Film Script Competition with the project ‘Sutan’, he directed his first short film ‘Sutan’. Later, thanks to the support of the Basque Government for the creation of short novels, he wrote the novel ‘Egurra’. He has always combined film and literature with journalism.
Last year, after winning the feature film project ‘Koaxi’ in the Elkarrekin Sortzen programme and the Talentua Gunean Music Library prize, he will now develop the project in the A Room of One’s own artistic residency in A Full House.
