About us
A Full House is a creative space to support and accompany women filmmakers so that they can develop their creative film projects. It is an intimate, close and feminist work area that since 2022 has hosted initiatives to support creation and promote the emergence of new talents and film creation in Basque.
In Full House, dialogue and the transmission of ideas and knowledge are established as tools to foster creativity based on collective skills and talent.
Behind the project are Garazi Elorza, executive director, and Nerea Sciarra, coordinator of the activities and management of the creative space.

Collaborations and support
The Basque Know How Fundazioa (BKHF) is currently leading the project. Established in 2007, it works to promote, implement, support and finance good practices, know-how, positive experiences and successful procedures of the various Basque entities, both public and private, in all fields of action (cultural, sports, business, education and health), incorporating the gender perspective and supporting innovative projects.
In 2022, the A Full House space was promoted by the independent and feminist production company Gariza Films, created by filmmaker Lara Izagirre Garizurieta, which works with the aim of producing Basque films of international scope.
After its 5 successful calls for entries, from 2025 Gariza decides to outsource this nonprofit activity to the BKHF foundation, and to continue collaborating with it for the development of A Full House’s activity. This is how the alliance between Gariza Films and the Basque Know How Fundazioa came about.
In addition, the A Full House project has the support of Basque entities such as BBK and the Basque Government; and collaborates in exchange projects with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.
