Carmen Echeverria

Carmen Echeverria began her film studies at Bordeaux Montaigne University in Bordeaux before moving to Madrid to pursue a master’s degree at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. In parallel with her master’s thesis, which focused on photographic research, she wrote her first short film in Basque, which she directed in 2021. This was screened at the Festival International du film de Saint Jean de Luz and at ZINEBI. She is currently developing her second short film and divides her time between writing and working as a script supervisor for local and foreign film production companies in Iparralde and Hegoalde.
