Estibaliz Maguregi 

Estibaliz Maguregi (Bermeo, 1994) has always worked socially with photography and video from a creative perspective.

She studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU), then Contemporary Art, at the same university she did her master’s degree in image and sound. After finishing his master’s degree he has focused more on projects of a more artistic nature. From the UPV-EHU he received a grant for an artistic residency in Reno, NV, USA. In 2019, he will be chosen by Ertibil It was a Basque artist with an audiovisual piece called Atardecer Fallido (Failed Sunset).

Between 2020-2022 with the association Con Ciencia y Arte, the documentary Latsariak (Laundresses) was made. Since then, the short film has been screened in several countries and some of it has been in festivals. In 2022, the project received the award for best film in Basque at the International Festival of the Invisible. Today he continues to work in photography and video creation, artistic projects combining it with the personal.
