Zaira Zanguitu

Zaira Zanguitu, a professional in the audiovisual world, has spent 18 years working with cameras, scripts and festivals as an assistant director. She is now working on her own documentary, Pajarracos, which is nominated to fly high in 2025. It is a project that aims to surprise and excite in equal measure. She has participated as an assistant director in more than 45 audiovisual projects, including feature films and fiction series. Maspalomas, Marco and Los Últimos Románticos are the latest projects she has been involved in.

The Pajarracos project is currently completing its run at the Noka Ekoizpena laboratory in Zineuskadi and will be presented in October at the Abycine audiovisual market, while she begins a new stage in the Basque filmmakers’ working group at Elkarrekin Sortzen.
